GREG FRIEDMAN is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics. In 1996, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with Sc.B degrees in Mathematics and Math-Physics (each with honors). He received his M.S. in 1998 and Ph.D. in 2001 both in Mathematics from NYU’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Following postdoctoral positions at Yale University and Vanderbilt University, Dr. Friedman arrived at TCU in 2006. He has been a Faculty Senator since 2008 and chaired the Senate’s Academic Excellence Committee for five years between 2010 and 2016.
