James D. Rodriguez

James D. Rodriguez is an Assistant Professor of Voice & Voice Pedagogy in the College of Fine Arts/School of Music. He holds graduate degrees (DMA and MM) from the University of Houston Moores School of Music and an undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University. He joined the faculty at TCU in 2017 and currently oversees the graduate voice pedagogy program and is an active researcher in topics involving diversity and equal representation in music programming. Dr. Rodriguez joined the Faculty Senate in 2020, is a member of the Governance Committee, and is thrilled to be serving as the Diversity Advocate for the Executive Committee.
